Crime Report: Cash, Valuables Worth Millions Looted; Six Injured As Two Groups Trade Fire and Road Accident

Lahore: Robbers deprived citizens of their valuables and vehicles worth millions of rupees Sunday.

Robbers looted valuables worth Rs 967,000 from the house of one Hasnat in Kahna, Rs 70,000 from the shop of one Junaid in Nishtar Colony, Rs 480,000 from one Fahim in Gulshar-i-Ravi, Rs 450,000 from one Akbar in Nawab Town, Rs 150,000 from one Khalil in Muslim Town, Rs 3 lakh from one Younas in Nawankot, Rs 175,000 from the family of Afzal in Lytton Road, Rs 150,000 from the family of one Umar in Factory Area, Rs 125,000 from one Ahsan in Nawab Town, Rs 75,000 from one Saeed in North Cantt, Rs 51,000 from one Haroon in Muslim Town and Rs 30,000 from one Naveed in Iqbal Town.

Bikes were sneaked away from the areas of Kahna, Batapur, Defence B, Factory Area, Qila Gujar Singh, Mughlpura, Mozang, Shahdra, Nishtar colony, Islampura, shadbagh, Nawankot, Muslim Town, Township, Sabzazar and Shadman.

Toaba Tek Singh: Six persons, including a woman, were injured in a clash between two groups at Chak 158/GB near Gojra on Sunday.

According to police, both groups opened fire on each other after a minor quarrel over some issue.

As a result, Khaliq, his wife Ramzana, Faisal Farooq, Adil, Omer Azeem and Guftar were seriously injured.

They were shifted to the Gojra THQ Hospital. Police are investigating.

Youth Electrocuted: An 18-year-old youth was electrocuted at Gojra on Sunday.

According to police, Zain Butt, a mechanic, was working in his shop when his hand touched a live wire.

As a result, he received an electric shock and died on the spot.

Karachi: A road accident claimed the lives of two people, while a woman died of electroshock in the city on Sunday.

Riding a motorbike, Ghulam Murtaza, 30 and his friend Naveed Khan, 32 were killed when a bus en route to Shah Noorani rammed into them near Northern Bypass in the Manghopir police jurisdiction. While the bus driver fled the scene, having abandoned the vehicle that was later seized by authorities, the bodies of the deceased were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legalities.

In another incident, 18-year-old Razia died after getting electrocuted as she was ironing clother at her residence in Sajan Goth located in Baldia Town, within the Saeedabad police limits.
