The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has announced its ticketholder candidates at 36 out of 41 constituencies of Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly (LA) where election is scheduled to be held next month.
President PML-N and Prime Minister of the country Nawaz Sharif in his capacity as chairman of the Parliamentary Board has approved the final list of the candidate on behalf of the party and expressed hope that the ticketholders would ensure the best possible results for the elections for the well-being of the people of the state.
Special assistant to the prime minister for political affairs (SAPM) Dr. syed Asif Saeed Kirmani who was coordination secretary of the board and its member has consigned the final recommendations of the board to the Prime minister in London who has endorsed the recommendations.
Nawaz sharif has express wish and prayed for the success of the candidates and in his message impressed upon them to work hard for the development, prosperity of Azad Kashmir as they should take the manifesto of the of the PML-N to the masses which is message of brilliance, service to the people and good governance.
“The education, health, best road’s network, most sophisticated infrastructure, clean drinking water and converting Aza Kashmir into a unique and most modern tourist hub has been my ambitious,” he said.
He is confident that the PML-N candidates would win the polls with thumping margin and would become instrumental for bringing prosperity and glow in the lives of Kashmiri people and their coming generations.
The candidates so elected would devote their energy and faculties for establishment of good governance and the best possible service of the people of Azad Kashmir, he added. The prime minister paid rich tribute to the leadership of former President and Prime Minister Azad Kashmir, sitting Vice President of the PML-N Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan and PML-N Azad Kashmir President Raja Farooq Haider for their services expressed hope that their experience would greatly help in success of the PML-N candidates.
The large number of the applicants for the PML-N ticket is an ample evidence of the unprecedented popularity of the party in Azad Kashmir like other parts of country. The contender who couldn’t secure the ticket must not lose heart and they should world hard for the success of their brother’s ticket holder as they would be taken care of in the following events, he added.
