Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen (MWM) Secretary General Allama Nasir Abbas Jaffaray Thursday cautioned the government that if their constitutional demands were not met, they could take to streets with all-out support of public with even more demands.
Talking to various delegations, which called on him at his hunger strike camp outside the National Press Club here, Allama Nasir said the government was unmoved by their peaceful strike, started three weeks back and still continuing.
Leaders of different political and religious parties, he noted, had visited the camp as a mark of support and solidarity to MWM.
He alleged the land, belonging to Shias was being snatched away in Parachinar and the authorities were totally unmoved on this alarming trend.
Allama Nasir said they would chalk out a fresh strategy in case, the rulers continued with their apathy towards Shia community, being targeted in DI Khan, Peshawar and elsewhere with impunity.
He contended their peaceful campaign should not be construed the rulers must be mindful of their steadfastness and perseverance.
MWM leader alleged the state use of force and fear to intimidate Pakistanis would be counter-productive and lead to hatred.
He charged under a ploy, attempts were being made to create hatred among Pakistanis about their own motherland.
Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen also set up hunger strike camp in different cities of throughout the country.
While addressing at Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Lahore’s hunger strike camp in front of Lahore Press Club, Allama Muhammad Raza Abidi stated that Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jaffri is demonstrating the beleaguered nation-state by adapting powerlessness into power.
“Now no supremacy of the biosphere be able to stopover the achievement of this measure. Quietness of Governing gathering and government establishments over the extermination of Millat Jaffria is the evidence of this object that our breathes has no worth in their eyes,” he added.
